Callaway Chrome Soft 360 Triple Track Yellow Golf Balls are premium golf balls designed for players who want tour-level performance, soft feel, fast ball speeds, short-game control, and easier alignment when putting. From our point of view, they are a very strong choice for golfers who do not want to play only a distance ball, but want a balance of distance, feel, and control from tee to green.
Chrome Soft is designed for players who want a softer feel at impact while still expecting strong performance on long shots. The ball is built to support faster ball flight, stable trajectory, and consistent performance across different shots – from driver and irons to wedges and putter.
A key technology is Tour Fast Mantle. This layer works with an optimised core and cover system to support faster ball speed and more distance. On long shots, the goal is more efficient energy transfer from the clubhead into the ball, which can help players gain stable distance without losing feel.
Advanced Seamless Tour Aero is designed for higher flight, longer distance, and consistency on every shot. Golf ball aerodynamics are very important because they affect trajectory, stability in the wind, and repeatable flight at different swing speeds.
A major advantage is the tour-level urethane cover. It helps generate spin and control on wedge shots, pitches, and chips. Compared with simpler distance balls that use a firmer cover, Chrome Soft offers better feel around the green and more ability to stop the ball after landing.
The 360 Triple Track version adds bold alignment lines around the entire ball. This technology helps with putt direction, visual start-line control, and roll feedback on the green. For players who like using a line on the ball when putting, it is a very practical feature.
The yellow finish improves visibility in flight and when searching in rough or lower light. This can be useful for players who want to find the ball faster, track its trajectory more easily, and distinguish it from traditional white golf balls.
We recommend Callaway Chrome Soft 360 Triple Track Yellow to players who want a premium ball for regular play, tournaments, and short-game practice. It makes the most sense for golfers who can feel the difference between a recreational distance ball and a high-quality multi-layer ball with a urethane cover.
Who we recommend these balls for
- golfers who want a premium tour-level ball with soft feel,
- players looking for a blend of distance, control, and greenside spin,
- golfers who want better putting alignment from 360 Triple Track lines,
- players who prefer improved ball visibility in flight and when searching,
- golfers who want a urethane cover and wedge-shot control,
- players who want one quality ball for driver, irons, wedges, and putter.
Who we would not recommend them to as a first choice
- beginners who often lose balls and want the cheapest possible pack,
- players who do not want bold alignment lines on the ball,
- golfers who prefer a completely clean classic look without lines,
- players who only need a basic two-piece distance ball,
- golfers who buy balls only by the lowest price.
Main benefits
- tour-level performance with soft feel,
- Tour Fast Mantle for speed and distance,
- Advanced Seamless Tour Aero for stable and consistent flight,
- urethane cover for greenside control and spin,
- 360 Triple Track technology for easier alignment,

Disadvantages to consider
- higher price than basic recreational golf balls,
- alignment lines may not suit players who want a completely clean ball look,
- if balls are lost often, a cheaper practice model may be more practical,

- the best ball choice should ideally be tested on course based on your own flight, spin, and feel.
Our recommendation
We recommend Callaway Chrome Soft 360 Triple Track Yellow to players who want a premium ball with soft feel, excellent short-game control, and a practical visual putting aid. It offers the biggest benefit to golfers who want better consistency on the green without giving up distance from the tee.
If you want a simple low-cost practice ball, there are more practical options. But if you want a high-quality multi-layer ball with a urethane cover, improved visibility, and a 360° alignment system, this model is a very strong choice.
